System Integration
Andover Controls is the industry leader in total facility integration. Andover’s product line allows you to seamlessly integrate HVAC Control, smoke evacuation and control (UL864 certified), lab controls, clean room controls, lighting control, card access, CCTV, and security on the same communication networks. Andover can also provide 21CFR11 electronic signature compliance for FDA validated projects. In addition, Andover has over 100 communication drivers to a wide variety of building systems such as fire alarm, power monitoring, elevators, paging systems, chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and many other building systems to allow you to integrate all microprocessors which are part of the facility operation.
All of the information and control of these systems can then be monitored via the Continuum Cyberstation or Web.client interface for a single source of alarming, monitoring, and control. This functionality provides you with an incredibly efficient and powerful tool for monitoring and controlling your building from a single user interface, plus adds the ability to cross-over functions between systems that traditionally have been separate in a building. For example, an employee enters the building by swiping his proximity card at the front door. The Andover Control system recognizes the employee’s access card, and immediately turns on his/her office light and air conditioning for his/her office (and perhaps even the coffee pot). This is a simple example of the power inherent in today’s Andover technology. |

This integration includes the ability to:
Support and interface with all current standard open protocols used in the Building Automation Systems industry, including BACnet, LON, Modbus, OPC, and Ethernet TCP/IP.
Integrate Andover Controls card access, CCTV, and BAS products on the same
communication networks, and accessible via the same user interface.
Utilize your existing TCP/IP network to connect the Andover controllers and
workstation(s). This eliminates the need for redundant network wiring.
Interface to wide array of 3rd party controllers, such as fire alarm, elevators, rooftop units, fume hood controls, leak detection systems, lighting control panels, power monitoring, variable speed drives, PLC’s, video switchers, security systems, UPS systems, generators, chillers, boilers, and other building automation systems. |

Providing you with the following benefits:
Lower installed cost.By using your existing networks, and by communicating from your Andover Building Automation System to other microprocessors in the building, you take full advantage of the investment you’ve made in all building controllers.
Single point of PC access to all building systems. This saves you time in obtaining and analyzing data, greatly reduces PC and software maintenance (since you’re only maintaining one PC and associated software).
Information sharing between disparate building systems. This allows one building function such as card access affect other systems it is physically separate from (but connected via integration), thus allowing you to configure your system to turn on lights, HVAC, or other systems when a building occupant swipes their access card to enter the building.
Integrates all building alarming to a common interface, and allows you to take advantage of Continuum Cyberstation and Web.Client’s powerful and extensive alarm handling capabilities (on-screen, email, voice, central station dialout, etc.).
We have an extensive resume of integration projects since 1996 to prove our abilities in this area, and have proven experience with a wide array of integrated systems. Call or email us for a free, no obligation consultation to determine how we can help you integrate your existing building systems to a common user interface.
